The worst news that we could have possibly recieved: There will not be a 3rd season 
Amanda sent an email to SIP Animation (along with the signatures so far on this petition) and got this response:
Hello Amanda,
Thank you very much for your e-mail and for your great interest in our series W.I.T.C.H. Yes, we have received a lot of mail from W.I.T.C.H. fans and I have passed these on to our co-producers and to our managing director. I will definitely pass your mail on to everyone involved in the decision.
Unfortunately, we cannot yet give you a definite answer about whether a third season will be made, but we have been having meetings with our co-producers about this matter. A decision will probably not be made before September or October.
Let's keep our fingers crossed!

Save W.i.t.c.h. for its 3rd Season Petition!

Well, a lot of us know now that there won't be a 3rd season of W.i.t.c.h. I mean, how could they! It's a very stupid thing to do considering that the show and the books have gained much more popularity. And this isn't about saving it on abc kids or anything else, this is about saving our show before they stop making it. I suggest that we do anything we can to help save it. Candi Milo has also given her support in an email she has given me.

Disney is the company that makes it. I know they have websites - but none devoted to W.I.T.C.H. - if there is any disneychannel.com or toondisney.com - I don't know.

People, try anything you can to try and save this show, if we really are as big fans as we say we are. Write to Disney(as she gave us their mail address), start a campaign, do something- remember, the worst somebody can do is say "No" so anything is worth trying, right? And the best that could happen is, well, more W.i.t.c.h.! You can also sign my petition I started and help save it's 3rd season. Get as many people to sign it as I will send it to the company when(if) it gets enough signitures. My petition is at http://www.PetitionOnline.com/3rdwitch/petition.html You up to it.
Yay! This is what was up a while back and we really need to get this moving! This is the only thing anyone can take and put on their website to spread the word so let's try to save the show that we love so much!
